400 watt comps?

i've never heard of comps that could handle this much power if its true i'd be

interested, i would think they should hit at least 150 db themselves but i'm

thinking its a typo, that just seems to farfetched

i dont know about them hitting 150db but they will take 400 wrms pretty easily, and actually if you ask squeak so will the BA Pro's

Not in a car....but down at the local dealer. Very, very, very nice comps. If I wasn't in love with my horns, these are what I'd be running.

they list the whole power range in 20-400watts..... sure you can put 400rms x2 amp on them but what are the chances they'll actually see all that power continously- most well built speakers can take hefty power well into their peak power range- they can def take the power, its not a typo...

horns play lower than conventional tweeter well into critical midrange freq's

The lowest I've seen a conventional tweeter play is 1200hz (supposedly), my Rainbow Power Cal27 and the 2" Rainbow Platinums. Horns play down much lower than this with ease. There may be tweets that play lower, i just havent come across them.

Well, the horns efficiency and output level which will be unmatched by a tweeter. But, tweeter would be easier to tune and work with if you are a novice.

horn will out image a regular speaker set unless you are a total moron lol and are actually louder than your 400 watt comps but then again you need a nice midbass to compliment the horn. then the other stuff to dial them in. for the price there are better speakers but you wont hear me complain at all about them. i like dry neutral sounding speakers though too.
