$400 for wiring?!

Alright, so I'm building a stereo from scratch, and I have all the hardware: Head unit, 2 paris of 6.5 comps, two 12in subs, a 4ch amp and a 1ch amp.

I need all new wiring, and want to do it the right way, and get nice quality stuff. (I also plan to do the big three)

So I'll be needing 0/1 gauge wire for the big three, pos. and ground wires, 4 gauge wire for the two amps, pos. and ground wire, distribution block, TWO inline fuse holders (one for stereo, one for big three upgrade), RCAs for 4chan amp and mono amp, a lot of speaker wire, battery terminals, some ring terminals, remote wire, extra fuses, etc etc.

I priced all of this from knukonceptz (where I have bought all my previous wiring) and the total came to 400 dollars.... Freaking ouch...

Are there any comparable package deals out there with knukoncept quality? I didn't even go with the highest quality wires to keep costs down (except power wire I did.)

Or is this just the way it is?

Is that 0g the Flex or the KCA? If you aren't running anymore than like 3000w total you will be fine with the KCA. As for battery terminals and fuses you can pick those up on ebay for cheap

Theres no way it should have been 400+. Buy wire off the classifieds here.

Don't know what your ride is but ~25' power wire, ~10' of ground, 20' of 18ga for remote, 100' of speaker wire(get it off parts-express), and your RCA's will be your biggest amounts. Hell I bought all that off here along with terminals and the other stuff for

400 dollars retail, buy the time you get ring terminals, speaker terminals, fuze holders, fuzes and all that good stuff.

For a run to the back at most you'll need like 17-18ft, some vehicles it's as short as 12-13

Agreed, but he said for the big 3 as well, so the additional was for that.

how much power wire u buying $400 can buy u alot at knu. My whole car is knu and I have no where near the price you said invested and I have everything u listed minus the distro box and terminals as u can get them cheap at pawn shops or ebay.
