40 Hz too high?

i wanna build a box for my mofo 15. I listen to alot of rap. Do you think 40 hz is to high? i have'nt heard many diff tuned boxes, so im not sure whether ill be happy with this, and i dont wanna build it again, so... what do ya think? Also, i think the box will be around 4 cubes not sure yet.

i wouldnt but up to you... definately should get a SSF if ya go that high

have you had experience with that tuning? and i do have a SSF. Need some more opinions. O and just for the hell of it, itll be powered by a hifonics 1500(**** outta stock vipers and DA's)

my bro bought a box tuned to 40 for his squares and it sounds pretty crappy. Ive heard a couple decent square installs and that was definately not one of em. BTW check ebay cuz e1 keeps saying ikesound doesnt have the d2500 or 2400d but I've seen em both on ebay the past few weeks.

for music, the highest id tune to is 35hz

40hz is way too high for daily driving. If you want them really low notes with some deep bass do around 29hz-33hz for daily driving.
