Looking to do 4 18" tc-5200's in about 14-15 cu ft at 32 hz with 3-4 6" aero's, my question is about sub and port placement. My dimensions are about 44 wide, 36 deep and 20-22" high. Where the hell can I put all this stuff!? Or will I have to settle for 3 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

if by acceptable you mean the port wont' go into total airlock then yes, if by acceptable you mean wont' suffer from serious port compression at high volumes then ... NO. 5200's have ALOT of motor force and that's a big cone, they'll be able to move more air near tuning than a port that size can provide. Even in 4 cubes/woofer I'd want more port.. Tuning low kinda goes out the window if your ports compressing at high volume levels.

Hmmm I've run 18's with a 6" aero, but nowhere near this motor force. Would 4 be enough for 3 woofers? The fourth one I was gonna buy had a different top on it I found out today. And does anyone know if there is much difference between 3.6-5 cubic feet? It just seems TINY for an 18 lol

That's why teh 5200's can go in such small boxes the motor is so strong that the box's pressure isnt' really very important. If the new models are like the old ones the response wont' change much as the box gets bigger and if anything, ti'll get prettty peaky pretty easily if the box is too big.

for a fifteen you need more port than box tc 5200 have a flat responce at 30-32 hertz, I seen people run 100 sq/in of port for sub at three cubes you would need 80 something inches of port In other words a 3 cubed box with 3.5 cubes of port for a 15 if you use the correct port you will need roughly 23.5 cubes per 3 subs you would probably gain more running 2 in a little smaller box In that box design single layer thick your gross internal dimensions are 17.39 cubes your 5 cubes short for three I would run 2
