4 Sundown sa-8

i am selling my 18" btl because i want louder and cant fit another 18" in my car soo i was doing some digging around and really liked the sundown sa-8's and was thinking that 4 would be good but i am skeptical on if they will be louder (considering the box i know) than my 18". Anyone have any personal knowledge or experience with these?

i have a local shop that is selling me the sa-8 for 135 a piece, i just wanna know that i will be slamming as hard if not HARDER than my btl. im not sure if 2 15's would really fit (the widest box i can get is 39", i can go about 26" tall, and can only go 15 or 16" deep) sooo space is a little limited. right now im doing 143 DB on my btl with soundstream pcx2000d and a stinger spv75 batt, i still will be using the soundstream and battery on my new setup. i am REALLY diggin the sundowns.

Thats PT cruiser yes? 500.00 for 4 XD8's shipped is less than the sa8's. Why not 2 12's? 2-12's up, 4 4" aeroports back should do **** near a 150 on around 2-3K watts.

id do the sa8's over the xd's....just my opinion

the XDs are AB so u know they're tastey! I wish I had 4 to fiddle w/ right now :/

id do the sa8's over the xd's....just my opinion

What have you built using the sa8's? How much experience do you have with the XD 8's? We put 1200 watts to 2 XD8's in a 2.5cu/ft box with no issues or failure. I will be testing them in my Street A CRX on one 1000.1 at .66 bridged. BTW, I get 6-7K watts out of this amp on one G2700, car off.
