4 speakers to one mono AMP

Since my alpine died on me recently, I am trying to figure out how to wire 4 speakers into this Kicker zx1000.1 for the time being until i get a new 4 channel. I wired everything up the way I thought it would go but when I play music, the speakers woofer is the only thing i hear and feel. What am I doing wrong?

That amp has a low pass filter on it that's probably not defeatable so it's filtering out the higher frequencies.

So the short answer is, you can't use that amp to power those speakers. If you need a temporary solution connect them directly to your deck.

alrighty, well let me ask you this question then: My alpine got some residual water on it recently. It stopped playing audio. Now, the only way the amp will turn off is if I disconnect the power or negative wires. If I take the remote out, the amp will stay on. Anything I can do here?

Not sure what you're getting at here...it doesn't play audio still.

thought it just wouldn't shut off... you could get it checked out but look at the amp... is it worth it? most amp fixs are around a hundred bucks give or take, then you got to factor shipping unless local... most of the time its just easier to buy a good used one off here... i've seen some nice amps go for cheap on here!!!
