Whats wrong with using birch?should be loud but why didn't you use mdf and i would think with those 4 subs i would do more bracing or double baffle it so no flex. oh an seperate chambers that is such a noob thing to say dude no one does that anymore too much varibles you can lose dbs by doing that an maybe hurt something
MDF will flex more than ply will. I love working with the Birch because it's less of a mess and so much lighter. This box doesn't flex at all.should be loud but why didn't you use mdf and i would think with those 4 subs i would do more bracing or double baffle it so no flex. oh an seperate chambers that is such a noob thing to say dude no one does that anymore too much varibles you can lose dbs by doing that an maybe hurt something
I think I'm going to leave this one natural man.looks sweet man, you going to stain that box or what? i love me some birch or oak. so easy to work with. i prefer it over mdf any day actually.
That's gonna be hella loud and sound good while doing it.
Give a dealer a buzz, or call Steve.Vids? And where can I order some RD Sonnance?
Wayyyyy better! I'll post vids this weekend once I get the 4k2d in.Looks good! Betcha it sounds better!
Yeah, it does. Especially after I deadend the trunk. It did a 143.8 on the TL, but I think I can get it over a 144. It's not a comp car, but definitely SQL. The acoustics in a CLK are so amazing if you've never heard one. Almost theater like in surround. I don't drive it enough to enjoy it though.Great build man. And its in a CLK? Thats crazy i bet it gets piss loud!
