4" speakers

Looking for a good pair of 4" speakers/components. My 4" kickers dsc44 just ain't cutting it. I will be running them on a alpine mrv f302 v12 4-ch amp. Looking to spend max of $200 on a pair.

What do you find lacking in your current speakers? If it's mid bass good luck with that.

After a couple songs of playing the voice dims in n out. Not completely off but voice lowers quit a bit.

I would like some components, but I'll settle for coax. It's a 91 toyota pickup single cab

Look into the phd mf4.1 kit. There is a vendor here on the forum.PHD-USA. Good guy to deal with. I believe mylows is also a vendor.

you should have the HPF set around 200Hz on the amp. and yes, those speakers are not impressive. but getting a good seal is also important. add a ring of weatherstripping foam around the speakers.
