4 Ohm power? MA SUBS What kind of amp?

I rencently baught 2 12' 1200 MA competions and had already paid for some amps on ebay that ran 2400 on 4ohms but sadly ebay is ran by the devil himself and the person that sold them told me said they were discontinued thus I need an amp or 2 that totals 2400 watts max at 4 ohms... i guess.. (still confuzed on what can run on 4 ohms)

Heres some specs for 1 of the speakers...

12" Competition Chrome Subwoofer :

Subwoofer Size: 12"

Impedance: 4 ohms

Dual Voice Coil: Yes

Peak Power Handling: 1200 watts (2400 between them)

RMS Power Handling: 600 watts

Every distributer says differant... any suggestions on a cheap quality power?

try to find a used MTX 1501 or RF 1500

they are 1200 not 1600, my fault... do the mtx's run on 4ohms? Would a 1 ohm stable Class D work? Some distributers are telling me that, and I'm not sure who to believe because they are contradicting themselves. They told me a 2400 watt legacy 1 ohm stable like I just said would work BUT on Legacys website it says NOTHING about any other ohms... i would think that the higher in ohms you go the less power youd get..

if they are both SVC 4 then you need a 2 ohm mono amp

 

I would stay away from Legacy

HK120XC.. when I got this money to get a system I attempted to get some JLw7 cuz of all the hype but everyone said that u gotta have high 3 ohm wattage to run it... i gave up cuz the only high 3 ohm watts were jls slash series and they are super expensive, especially for one of them 13 inch bad boys... you should school me on this ohm ish cuz I feel like I'm in the dark getting ready to walk into a big hole ya know.
