what would be the best box to put these in?

i would love ported if possible

its goin in a 95 caprice

i jus got rid of 4 cvr 15s for these and was hoping the 4 10s would play louder because of the space

everyone said i had to wall my trunk and if i didnt it would sound like chit

so now i have 4 s10L7s

What are some of your dimensions? Like max size in the trunk, opening into the cabin?

What kind of power will these be seeing? Im guessing just a daily musical streetbeater?

Fire all of the subs straight into the cabin from the trunk. Should be a great trunk setup if done properly.

lol yep its jus an everyday vehicle

my dimensions are

front to back 40 i guess this is length

top to bottom 21 -height

sideto side 62-width

i am not good with metric terminology lol

my trunk opening is 55

i have a lil more space to work with i jus saved a lil

the opening into the cabin is about 20-24 inches wide

and like 15 inches tall

You're looking at about 6 cubes ported.

Did a quick design for ya. I made it shallow to leave room for a battery, amps, and whatever else you need in your trunk. If you were good with trimwork, you could make it look like you dont even have a system when you open your trunk.

Heres the design.

Yep. From all the systems Ive seen with L7s and boxes Ive helped friends build for then, they play best in bigger ported boxes.

Well I added an amprack that hides the batteries (up to 3 Kinetik HC2400s) and the amprack can hold a ZX2500.1 and a ZX850.4. Yeah, I know the amps are ghetto. Also, it shows what the hole looks like that is the opening into the cabin. Its 15" high by 24" wide.

And yes, its late, and Im bored. Gotta get to sleep so I can wake up for work.

Yes, I would face sub/port towards the rear of the trunk/car...

Really depends on the car. Most of the Caprices around here have it firing into the cabin.

You could always do a bandpass and fire it straight into the cabin and completely seal it off.
