PA is different that car audio. systems in boats are made up of car audio components. a woofer still acts the same, a speaker still sounds the same, and amplifiers still produce the same power, its like running a convertable system rather than coupe.

I heard a canoe with 20 W7's and 20 1000/1's, actually i didn't hear anything, it sank to the bottom of the lake due to the excess weight.

well the water distorted my view, but i think it was 13W7's(the most expensive ones of course).

but it was so loud that the fish just floated to the top of the water, with smiles on their faces from the SPL and underwater SQ. Everyone who has read this thread knows that systems in boats sound better, right? Not to mention the db's you can hit underwater.
