4 jl13w7's or 8 idmax 12's?

i can pretty much get eiter 4 13w7's or 8 idmax 12's for the same price..ive had w7's before so i know what they can do..which would you choose..and not just to say you got 8 subs to make your ego bigger,,im only interested in hard loud bass that doesnt sound like ***..now i know the 8 idmax will be louder and harder..but is the extra space i will have to give up to 8 subs be worth it?

if i had the room and that much money to burn on electrical upgrades, id go with 8 idmaxs.What kind of budget are you working wiht here man, thats alot money just for the subs

money isnt an issue,i was gona use a nissan armada,but i ended up buying a 2004 gmc denali last night,im gona take out the 3rd row seating..what amps you suggest i was thinking wiring each 4 to 1 amp,but now im thinking just adding another sub make it 9 and wire each 3 to 1 amp..

8 12's is not SQL by any means or when done with any speaker.

how much can you really afford to spend on amps? cause 8000 watts aint gonna be cheap.

no to mention the charging system that has to supply that kind of power.

money is not an issue i work from home and make somewhere around $12k a month..so i dont mind spenidng $2800 on subs and $3000 on amps..my last system i spent around over $15k for that involved 4 12w7's when they first came out..i can pretty much get the same system now for $8000 but i dont know if i wana go with jl again i wana see what else is out there

3k on amps will still be tough to do. your charging system will take a serious abuse. with that kind of power, i would spend 500-1000 on your charging system and another 5+ on amps.

two treo ssx 18"s ported and a pair of c2k 9.0's will amke you see crooked.

^^ that would be an awesome setup, anything over 4 subs is a lil pointles if you ask me....unless you do like 8-16 8inch subs

with 8 subs there would be a lot of cancellation.
