4 good mids vs. 8 cheap?

Ok going thru a lot right now. So on a lighter note. I was thinking about flooding my truck with mids to get a nice mid and high stage. At first I was going to go with 4 mids and 2 tweets on each one of my 90 bronco doors. But now I seeing some dd audio mids for a nice price and wonder if that would be a better route.

Which will sound better? 8 cheap mids or 4 good mids.? I'm also thinking I can get a 2 nice pair of dd comps as well

Haven't really set up a budget yet. But I do plan to do some hunting so I can get a good price. I was thinking I would run a ppi 900.4. Which would still leave me room for my tweets

That will be some nice power for mids and tweets.

Check out the Krome loudspeakers on our website. A lot of people have had awesome success with em.

Or the Inciminator just came out with there DPC 6.5" pro driver that would be a good option as well.
