4 cube Vs 5 cube box

Im gonna get a 15" XXX. What difference would an extra cube make if a guy is using 1500-2000 watts?

I know RE suggests 4 cubes tuned to 27hz for sql. I have a nice trunk, so room isnt an issue. Is bigger better? I can go 38"x18"x however deep.

Id like to get it figured out so I can build a box this weekend.

i would assume whatever RE spec's is a pretty good size to go by...4 cubes to 27 Hz sounds good. FYI Jack Frost is biased towards low tuning.

Thats because low tuning is the best Id rather have better Sq and sacrifice a little thumpitty thump. Keeps makin me think about that Tumult I want ported around 24hz.

would a 4 cubed box tuned to 30hz be much different than a box that is tuned to 27hz?
