4 channel with only 2 speakers

i want to wire my component set to a 4 channel amp. obviously i dont have 4 speakers so how should i wire them up? i have a 4 channel rca so should i go ahead and hook both inputs up? should i wire the speakers to the right and left front or do right front and left rear or something like that?

no crossover so cant go active. can i bridge it? i think the speakers would blow because my amp does 140x4 at 4ohms and about 300x2 at 4ohms. can the comps in my sig handle that?

not all amps are bridgeable. check manual or w/ manufacturer first.

If you're comps can be bi-amped, i'd go that route before bridging. Otherwise, if your amp can be bridged, check the manual for bridging recommendations.

this should belong in the 'no shit' category.

im not going to run anymore speakers, no rear fill. so should i just do front left and front right and set the hpf?

probably not a good way to find out 100% if the amp is bridgeable or not.

it is faster, then you can look in the manual when it doesn't state it's bridgeable. Just offering an option for the lazy, kinda like the OP
