Do you need to run 2 sets of RCAs? Can I just run a RCA cable from my mono amp to the 4 channel amp instead of taking my head unit out?

Then do I run 2 remote wires from the head unit?

What is the remote wire made of? Nowhere sells just the remoet wire.

one remote wire is all it'll need, that just tells the amp to turn on when the headunit is turned on, depending on what type of four channel amp it is you may need to run two pairs of rca's to the amp, some four channels have a switch from 2chan or 4chan were it'll use one rca and send the signel to both channels.
