call me stupid but can you hook up a 4 channel amp into 1 subwoofer and how?
you can bridge 2 of the channels into one. but the other channels remain unusedso i cant bridge it so it can go into 1 sub?
Not if he's got a DVC 4 Ohm sub he can't....the vast majority of multichannel amps aren't stable below 4 Ohms when in bridged configuration.you can bridge 2 of the channels into one. but the other channels remain unused
If you're going to use your existing amp for two subs then each sub will need to be in the range of 150~200w RMS (RMS = continuous power handling)Peak power ratings are good for nothing more than marketing purposes and as such can be ignored.i guess ill problay get 2 subs then and have to spend some more .what wattage should i look for in the subs like peak power and and continous power handling.
I mean, it is your money, but your way will a) cost more and b) not sound anywhere near as balanced.i guess ill problay get 2 subs then and have to spend some more .what wattage should i look for in the subs like peak power and and continous power handling.
