4 channel amp wiring

I have brought out some old equipment and was wondering how to wire my amp to get full power for my subs. The amp is a rockford 501x and the subs are Diamond Audio macdaddy 10's both those are dual 4 ohm. Please if you can send a diagram or tell me if this amp will work at all.

run your speakers in series for a 4 ohm final load and bridge that amp. wire diagrams are stickied in the wire forum

so wire the subs in series and then what on the amp it says bridge on both sides so which channels would I use?

bridged should be front and rear on left, front and rear on rioght

so this will be what ohm load on the amp sorry man about all this I thougt a knew a little this kinda stuff. By the way could you send me a diagram with the channels and all so when I do this tomorrow I will have no problems. Really appreciate the help to.

send me a pic of the side of the amp cause all amps are different. it should say bridge on the side of it. 2 dual 4 ohm subs wired in series will be a final 4 ohm impedence

yea sorry that was a pdf I will try and get you a picture of it I have to figure out how to get the pic on here never used a message board before. Quick question though I was wondering if I am am gonna be using 2 channels of the amp how am I gonna get any power out of it if I have 2 4 ohm subs will they be wired parrellel so each channel is recieving a 2 ohm load.

make sure that amp is stable to 2 ohms bridged. when you bridge an amp, it'll take 2 ohm power rating of each channel and combine it, so running your subs parallel will make each channel see a 1 ohm load and that is not good. you may get away with it since rockford amps are generally built like tanks and impedence rise is your friend
