4 channel amp on dvc subs?

has anyone took a 4/3/2 channel amp, used it as a 2 channel amp briged, hooked one channel to one side of a dvc sub and hooked the other channel to the other side of a dvc sub?? how did it work

They were svc's, but it worked fine. Just be sure to get the x/o's set as close as possible.

i had my old 4 channel bridged to 2 channels, each one on a a set of voice coils, it worked fine since the channels were in mono (they must be in mono or you will ruin your sub)
