I Have a US Amps 4 channel amp...it does 25w rms x 4 @ 4 ohm and 36w rms at 14.4V x4 @4 ohm...My problem is that i have a 4 door SUV with speakers in the doors and 2 in the dash...6 speakers total...how do i hook up 6 speakers to a 4 channel amp without blowing the speakers or frying the amp??..my doors are 40rms and my dash is 20rms...do i bridge the front doors with the dash or compontent...or just wire the doors to 4 channel and dash to head unit cause my HU is 22w rms x4...what do i do??...and with a mono and 4 channel amp...do i need a cap??...or just a yellow top or something??..thanks for the help..any info will help.

Man thanks..i didnt want a cap anyways cause the pros dont use them....so 4 doors off 4 channel amp and the dash off the HU...sending 36w rms to each door and 22w rms to the dash..not bad....thanks alot...anyone else have other suggestions???..this one seems like common sense

the four speakers in the front are a set of factory components. Most likely they are already odd impedences and have a filter on the tweeter side. You could either not use the top set (if you have aftermarket speakers), or you could put all four of the speakers on the two channels of the amp.

I Have all after market speakers..alpines in the doors and pioneers in the dash brand new stuff 2005 editions....i just wanna run 4 doors off 4 channel and i dont know how to wire up the dash speakers..just run them to HU or have them share 2 channels with front door speakers??....but if i do that them i need 60w rms to run 4 speakers 2 dash 2 front doors and my amp only puts out like 36w rms to each channel...so i dont wanna do that...so i think its best just to runt he dash off the HU..and give them 22w rms from HU..smart idea or no??

I was just reading JL audio's solutions to 6 speaker setup...it says to all doors tot he 4 channel amp like normal but wire the dash to the front channels so they are bridged...says my US AMP will put out 36w rms to the rear but 2x as much like say 50 or 60w rms to the front doors and dashes...so it works out fine..problem is...is my amp 2 ohm stable..its a US AMPS USA-425???

Alpine type S from 2005 in all 4 doors and 4x6 pioneer 3 way speakers in the dash also 2005...doors are 40w rms and 200w peak and dash is 20w rms and 120w peak
