4 channel amp install??

So i recently bought a 4 channel amp for my speakers and i was wondering where to connect the rca cable to...do hook it up to the out put connrction on my 3 channel amp or run it from my head unit and connect it on the other 2 ports??

How many speakers are you running? what is the current amp hooked to? what are you trying to achieve? and finally how many outputs do you have on your HU?

my head unit has 4 ports 2 are used for the sub amp and i have 2 free i have 4 speakers the ones in the back are 2 way and the 2 in the front are a comp set the current amp i have is a 1600 watt 2 channel for my subs...im basically trying to get my front speakers and tweets to sound a little clearer u had originally told me to just hook up my front speakers that i wont need the rear ones haha
