I have a JL e4300 4 channel amp and my truck is a 6 speaker system.... 2- 3.5" in the dash; 2- 6x9" in the front doors; 2- 5.25" in the rear doors..

I need advice because I have 2 options in mind......1) I was thinking of either running the 3.5" on the amp with the 5.25" in the rear doors together or option 2) which is get a 6x9" component system for the front doors and throw the tweeters in the dash location and 5.25" in the rear doors..

Which will sound better and will it be ok to run the 3.5" and the 5.25" together on the same channels in the amp?

I've narrowed it down to 2 choices the MB Quart component system set up

or the Boston Acoustics 6 speaker set-up mainly because I can get either set-up for around $200... or may spring an extra $50 and get a 6 speaker JL set-up

Also would it be wise to put base blockers on the speakers?

Don't amp the rear.
Or would it just be easier to amp the front and rear then run the dash 3.5" off the head unit?

Also will the headunit send power to the speakers output since I will be using all front and rear sets of RCA's for the amp

Keep the amp on the front speakers. Run the rear speakers off the HU.
That sounds like what I'm going to do I just wasn't sure if I could use both frotn and rear pre outs and also use the HU speakers outputs? Since I can do it that's the route I'm going for

are you planning to get a sub??if not use the amp for the 6x9 and the 5.25 and the 3.5 from the HU

just my 0.02
I do have a 10" w3 on a 250/1. This is my most mild system INa while. I had 2 w6v2 12's, 3 12 w3 s, 2 10" w3's and now one 10" w3. When I get so

e more money I plan on doing 4 10's u der the back seat.

Use the amp to power the 2- 6x9" in the front doors; 2- 5.25" in the rear doors and forget the 2- 3.5" in the dash ( or use the HU to power the 3.5)

in the future when you want to upgrade the front stage use the amp for the front and forget the rear speakers.

that's what i would do
