4 channel amp and one sub? Is this possible?

Alright i have a 15' dayton sub and a precision power 4 channel amp. is it possible to have all four channels pushing my sub? my sub is a dual voice coil, but i really need help on wiring options and diagrams..... :|

im not 100% positive but i think best u can do is bridge it and use 2 channels for it

you could do it as long as the sub is dual 4 or dual 8 ohm. if its dual 4 or dual 1 I wouldnt try it

its a dual 8. is there anyway you could show or explain to me how to hook this 4 chan amp to this sub??

Bridge ch's 1&2 into one voice coil, then 3&4 into the other voice coil.

You wont gain any wattage by bridging the amp into two channels since its a dual 8ohm sub, but it will work just fine.

^ exactly.

refer to the amp owner's manual for instructions on bridging - or refer to the printing on the amp speaker terminals for which two are for bridged configuration. pay close attention to polarity.
