4 Channel amp 4 my speakers

I'm in the market for a 4 channel amp to power my speakers. I have a pioneer head unit, 3-way infinity kappa 6x9's in the rear and infinity kappa components in the front.

The 17 year old kid at tweeter was set on selling me the JL 300x4 for $600 and nothing else in the world existed in his opinion. {(found the same sub for 400 elsewhere lol)

My budget is 400 for the amp, but if I can get a nice amp for less than that, I'm open for recommendations.

I have a Rainbow amp for less than 400 if you're interested, but there also many more that will fit your budget, just have to search around though.

Maybe look at the sundownz or zed audio, I'm not really sure how much they are, but are really good amps for the money from what i've heard.

Try onlinecarstereo.com or woofersetc.com. You should be able to get a nice 75x4 alpine for around $250. I just bought a jl 300/4 for $225 on this board. Nice amp. Not worth $600 though.

Hey, thanks for the recommendations! The memphis one has my interest, keeping it in the back of my head while i look, I've heard good things about them. As far as what I have right now, nothing too amazing. I have a pretty nice pioneer HU I bought 2 years ago, ran me around 400 then >
I haven't put much thought into a sub setup yet. That will probably come next month. Right now everything in the car is stock, so all the speakers/amp/head unit I'm going to put in at the same time. Should sound nice compared to the stock setup, which blows lol. I'm planning on running cables/wires/dynomat for everything I could possibly add in the future, when I put the speakers in. I used to work Best Buy Home theatre when I was in college and they rip you off on wiring / dynomat. Going to try and get an old friend there to hook me up with all the cables/wires/mat... there's about a 3-400% markup on it all, so we get about 75% off, not bad for employee discount . They also get about half off all other car stereo stuff, but they tend to carry a lot of junk.

I'd take a look at the JBL gto and px 4 channels, or maybe the new Pioneer PRS-D4100F.
