4-chanel amp help

I'm very soon going to order everything new for my system.

I'll be running:

pioneer premiere deh-p680mp HU

Rainbow SLC265 components

2 10" AA Assassin subs

I was thinking about running a 4-chanel amp and just bridging two to power my subs. I'll need about 1000W RMS (150 each component and 350 each sub).

Any suggestions??

And I have about a $300 budget for it, so best amp i can get for that price?

The Assassins have single 4 Ohm voice coils. With a pair of them you can get either a 2 Ohm or an 8 Ohm load. Most amps are not stable @ 2 Ohms when bridged and if you show the amp an 8 Ohm load you will only get around half of its 4 Ohm rated output.

so basically it would be better to go with 2 separate amps to power my components and subs?
(A) Congratulations on spelling separate properly. Most people don't.

(B) Yes ~ with those particular subs' voice coil configuration bridging two channels of a 4 channel amp to drive them isn't going to be the optimum solution //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
