4 chan AMP question

Recently I bought a 4 channel amp off ebay, I hooked up one 3 way to right side of chan A..worked; hooked up same speaker to left side of chan A..worked; same speaker to left side of chan B..worked; hooked up same speaker to right side of chan B....didnt work unless I hooked up the neg to another leg on the AMP other then the one I had the positive comeing from. So if I take the positives and put them where there suppose to be and put both of the neg together on the same leg for chan B will that hurt the AMP ? will I still get the output from the AMP if i do it this way ? or is this something I need to take in and have looked at ?

Sounds like 1 channel is blown...
So with that being said will I be wasting my time and defeating my purpose if i hook up both neg to one leg of chan B. Will it be ok if I hook it up that way..(pos where they need to be and both neg on one leg for chan B) or should I go have this looked at ?

One channel is blown. Cross connecting is bridging to the other channel.
So If I hook up Chan A , left and right the way im suppose to and then take chan B..pos to the left side legg and pos on the right side legg and take both neg from chan B and put them on the right side neg legg is considerd bridgeing to the other chan. So my best bet is takeing this amp in and getting it fixed ?
