A good ear can easily hear the difference, most class D amps have poor S/N ratio and channel separation which is the reason they are typically used to drive subwoofers.
They are incredibly efficient and that is a plus but at the sacrifice of sounding kind of stale and lifeless as compared to an equivalent class A/B amplifier.
We all hear and interpret things differently though so YMMV.
whatever dude. You must have great ears. And they are not incredibly efficient when you push them very hard. But I won't get into debates on the forum.
