Im on Ebay looking for Stinger wiring kits. Im looking for everything to be included, I came across "Sound Quest" which is "by Stinger"

My question is It looks as if I can buy a complete wiring kit by Sound Quest for around $35. I can buy a complete wiring kit by Stinger for $85. Am I missing something. Is the Stinger kit of better quality? More efficiency perhaps?

Its been awhile and im trying to do a quick subtle setup in my silverado. And these wiring kits have me scratching my head.

My phone wasn't letting me edit for some unknown reason. But there's two SQ kits and the bottom is the Stinger kit.

XS kit

Think this is the "value" kit

Standard Stinger 4 awg kit with everything included.

Here's a link to Sound Questions Website. The two Wiring kits Id be interested in are the XS and the Hybrid Series.

Well I answered my own question basically. The only kit that SQ offers thats 100% copper is its XS kit..

So now that wiring is of of the way. I noticed Stinger makes a few different 17ft RCA cables, they range from $18 to $85. Do you care t give me a quick lesson on RCA's? Ha

How about KnuKoncept? 27.00 for the CCA and 62.00 for the ofc 4 gauge kits. They both come with 17ft rca's. That Xs kit looks good though.
Decent kits. I sell my Shca kits for $30 and $60 for 4 gauge The cca 4 gauge kits don't really yield any profit. So I don't push them. And they are really only good for really small systems if that It's always better to use 0 gauge so it leaves room to upgrade later

Totally agree with the 1/0. I've been running 4 for a whole 8 months (lol) and just moved up to the 1/0. Cheaper to upgrade from the get.

I just went ahead and ordered the 4 awg Stinger 6000 kit...

I would like to run 0 but this will be and under the seat setup in my truck. Ill be running my 2 10" old type R's sealed in about .9 cubic feet on old kicker kx 1200.1

Ill see it goes and I think ill later on upgrade to some 10" sundown SD's? Maybe get a newer amp as well. Something around 1k watts.

Whit that kicker amp you'll need 0 gauge wire.
It accepts 0ga yes. But I dont actually NEED it. I ran it on 4ga for a while in my Monte Carlo without issues.

I think my next go around for an amp will most likely be a the RF T1000. Brand new of course.

I had one to. It got hot at higher volumes swapped out the wire for 0 gauge. It was louder and ran cooler. Also had the t1000 was ok at best. There is better for less tho

With my monte I told myself I was going to run 0ga and backed out and went with 4ga ha. Kind of the same snerio now.

Maybe im weird but I dont want my subs and amp to be the same brand... I did own the first gen SAZ 1500d and was very impressed. I never had much time or testing with the amp cause I lost interest around that time and sold out. A few months later I bought a used kx 1200.1 (always wants one for whatever reason) and I did more of a budget build..

When it comes to amps im weird/picky. Only certain brands appeal to me and I've always kind of liked RF amps.

What about the JL 1200.1 either the HD or the Slash?
