i have 2 amplifiers and ordered another 2

if i have a compacitor i wont have any problems running them right? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

the problem I have with the current ones...is that the one shuts down faster than the other and you hear electricity or pop in the speakers when you start or shut down the car. is there a way to eliminate this?

in VERY simple words...what's gain control? if your speakers nominal w are.. say 30Wrms and you have an amplifier which is 60Wrms you will put the gain at the half?

Sounds like you are starting an amplifier farm. Gain control an be funny so just ear it in starting at low and tuning it up you hafta ear it in. Plus your amps are so small that a cap won't make much of a diff. Just put it on the biggest one if you think you need it. I feel (yes I don't KNOW) that one cap per amp is the way to go if you want to cap stuff anyways. As for the pop, this is i believe alternator noise powereing up and down. I don't know how to solve it, because I've never experienced it bad enough to worry.

sorry for not responding faster (had a health proplem).

To answer the problem with the popping noise you hear when you start your car, check to see if your remote turn on is hooked up to the right place. With this some people hook it up to the constant power wire that keeps the memory in the radio. If you hooked it up there then you are gettting a power surge through that wire.

The shutting down problem comes from MANY different reasons. One may be heat, Grounding problems, and many more. Is the one that is shutting down the one pushing your subs, and if so the ohm level may be to low for the amp. If it is your mids and highs I would think a problem with the amp is to blame. I am not trying to push any amps on anyone, but I LOVE my CONCEPT amps. I have NEVER had a problem with them, and they are afforadable, and great quality.

Make sure your remote turn on is connected to the correct wire. The question about the Cap, is this. Depending on your amp current draw would only be the reason to add a cap. The cap will provide a momentary surge in power that is required when the amp is putting out large amounts of power to your speakers. (most with bass) You can take your car to most alternator shops and have them measure the draw on your altinator with the stereo turned up vs what your alternator will put out.

The only thing I would do is take the 2 amps you have now and run your mids and highs. Then take the money and invest it into a good mono bass amp. Concept sells a 500 watt mono amp for 225.00. It is 1Ohm stable and is reall more than you speakers can handle.

If you have more money look into an OBCON GZ series enclosure. YOU WILL BE AMAZED at the amount of BASS this thing puts out. 158 Db with 600 watts going to it.

Man i sure hope u upgraded ur alternator.Thats alot of amps to be running off a stock alternator.Rem a cap stores power and is a band aid for an electrical system.1 farad per 1000 watts min.

sorry for couldn't reply sooner (had an operation on my legs, couldn't move for a few days).

the only place i can order online is thru millionbuy because noone else ships to Cyprus. and from what i see...why do mono amps have a low output on rms? if i buy a 2channel and i brigde it i get more powers than a mono amplifier for the same money. (i am new to this so if i missed something i'm sorry)

the pop on the speakers (i have a 2chan amp at the rear speak and 2chan brigged for my sub) has gone when i put the sub amp which is "bigger" first and got a rca wire that comes with one and at the end it has 2 rca outputs (my english are few sorry)... but now that i will install more amps it don't wanna have the same problem...i will have a trunk full of wires at the end.

right now i have a 2chan amp that runs only the rear speakers (2x65W rms) and one 300x1 brigded that runs my sub..... i was thinking to change the speakers in front that r only 35W rms.... get either a 4chan amp or one more 2chan amp the same for rear and front speakers....

i have one more sub in it's case but my amp can play it.

what would you suggest?
