Just picked up a 08 Silverado Crew Cab and raised the rear seat 3" to allow for a decent size box under the rear seat. I'm debating on either 4 8's forward facing or a pair of 10s or 12's down firing. If a ported box is used, should the port face a certain direction ?

Will either put 500 to each 8 or 1000 to each 10/12.

any suggestions would be appreciated. Sub brand has not been chosen, just trying to figure what will sound best inside the cab ( I do like bass and listen to rap and rock)

I've seen that video. I think he did that box in a 03-04 Silverado SS, which has the big hump in the floor. I'm fairly certain I can mount 10's facing forward under my seat since the hump is under 2" in height. I don't have the truck at work to get the exact height available.
