4 8" or 2 12" subs

i am planning my next install

and was wondering what you guys thing i should get

well i have a 99 ranger ext cab

i was thinking either 4 8"L7 or 2 12"l7

either setup would be running of a cadens zrs8 at 1500rms@1ohm

i was thinking about going with the 8"

Not enough power genious...
I would go with the 2 12s. They have slightly more cone area and you will be able to power them a little better with that amp you have...

Dual 12's FTW. Plus you get more power to the subs from the amp.

4 8s = 200sq inches

id go with 2 12s

thats why the 8's were in my options cuz

nobody would belive i only had 8's

most ppl in my town have 15 they think cuz there bigger there ganna be louder

but everybody got made when i had my 1 12l7 that was louder

i thout it was funny

if i go with the 12's what do you think about box volume?

i was thinking 6 or 7 cubic feet this should be good for a daily driver?

or do you think i should go a little bigger?
