4 15 xxx and to memphis d2000

what do you think about 4 15 xxx and 2 memphis d2000 i already havr the amps i got a great deal on them 1100 for both brand new. Its going in my show truck. Thinking of putting the subc in a 4 cf box tuned 42 hz of comp and 32 for the weekend cruize. just cant make up my mind on how many subs

I want the texas state db record in a 1-2 class and the 3-4 class. i know its not going to be easy but i have time and money. for trail and error to see what works and what doesnt. I took the 1st xxx 15 that i got put it in my crx in a 4 cf box tuned to 45hz and with a d2000 on it hit 163.6 . I have a couple of changes to make and shouild net a couple of db higher. plus to shut up my friend he has 6 L7's in a sealed box //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/banghead.gif.8606515f668c74f6de0281deb475b6fd.gif and 10 memphis 1000d totaling around 10k-11k of power and hes only at 167.9 . 163?!?! what mic did u use? sounds like a lousy piece of **** mic to me....... and ur gonna put 4 subs in a 4cuft box? thats 1 cuft apiece ......... to break a record ur gonna need much more space than that!

i was thinking the same thing.....i doubt 160+ with a single xxx is very easy to attain.....and for comps i'd say give the xxx at least 5+ cu ft...i have mine in 6.2 for a daily driver...given thats a little too big but nonetheless i'd say 5+ //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wave.gif.002382ce7d7c19757ab945cc69819de1.gif

well isn't the XXX louder than the seXXX? I've never heard the seXXX, all I know is my XXX does 150db's+ (lin x).

Doubtful you broke 163 on a linX with 1 XXX 15 w/ 4 cubes. I did 144.5 in my daily and that is with 6 cubes, but again,it was my daily.

Mattj has done 143 on a linX and he has been doing this for a while, I doubt the capabilites of a XXX to get to 150 on a linX, unless this is talking about an extreme vehicle situation. Do not get me wrong, I love the XXX, just, 150 on a linX is very hard to attain with 2.5kw. Unless you are exceptionally smart and have years of experience, I doubt what you say.

I think your mic MIGHT be full of **** if 6 L7's are at 167... even with 10kw...

I do not mean to sound like an ass, it is just the linX has been proven to be difficult to score high on, and I do not see 167 or even 163 with 1 15XXX or 6 L7's sealed.

10$ says the guy's mic is an old AC...and even at that dual L7 12's w/ 2.5kw hit 158...so 163 w/ 1 15XXX just...doesn't even seem right...
