I don't think the OP understands that he's going to need about 12-16 cubes to run those CVX's and have them sound like anything. Unless he wants a tiny little fart box... I don't know who he's getting his "custom" box from but the guy should've told him unless he has an SUV it isn't going to fit.

That's the problem. Either the builder really doesn't understand the scope of the work or he doesn't care. Both are dangerous.

Listen bro yes you can fit 4 cvxs but not in the right box .... Meaning a box big enough to get there full potential .... Now what there trying to tell you is if being super loud is your goal ... Two of the monster subs there recommending as in ssa evil (look it up) will be louder ....way way way louder ... And if its four subs you need then run 4 12s but good 12s which everyone on here can help recomend my personal idea would be 4 lethal injections ... But bottom line is you want to be loud re read this thread a couple times and you'll achieve your goal ... Or jam four 15s cvxs in ur trunk in a box that a moron made and promised is gunna be so loud waist all your cash and when I pull up twice as loud with 2 150$ 12s in a bad *** box with good electric a brain in my head ... Then you can be all jelly ... Close thread!

Well, shit, son. You wanna be different, go nuts and get two W15GTis in separate 4.0cuft chambers and give each one 1500WRMS off one of the amps I showed you.

Kind of a shame. Reputable guys on here like Pro-Rabbit or Buck, etc. wouldn't even take the guys money or build the box for that matter.

My advice to the OP is to do a lot of research, maybe go to a couple shows in Texas, and get a good idea of what 2 or 3 12's can sound like with a good enclosure and good electrical. Then maybe I'd advise him to throw some money at it....

PS I was trying to be a little sarcastic on the two GTi subs. They're normally for SQ builds when people want to hear a cellist farting in the middle of a recording lol.

Depends on what 15s. But absolutely yes.

It's more about the enclosure than the sub itself, so yes. Having 2 15s will mean you're closer to building the right enclosure for them and allowing them to dig lower and play louder on the same amount of power.
