i got a budget of 340 bucks for 4 12's, i will get an amp based on what subs i get, but i jus want a setup that will get LOUD. I dont really care about sq, but i dont want it to sound like *** either. I got a box thats 1.25 cu ft per chamber, but i can make a box if i got to. any sugg

add another $140 and you can get 4 type r's shipped for $480...

or maybe try those "new" rsd's...the 10's are $100 each shipped on ebay...

i don't think you can get 4 good 12's with $340 yo...

even 4 assassins is $360 plus another $15 for shipping for each which is a grand total of $420...

more sq = go for assassins

more spl = go for type r's

honestly, FOR THE MONEY of $120 shipped EACH, its fricken hard as hell to beat a type r...i dare anyone to name some...

but the guy wanted spl...and this won't cut it...

main point is that $340 shipped is not gonna get much for 4 12's...period...

the type r's would give him headroom for the future...otherwise spend the $340 on 2 nicer subs and port them or one very nice big sub and port that bish...

hey diablo, what kinda amp do you got anyways? or budget for a amp?

Maybe u can try getting 1 18" and used that 5cftish space for a ported box.

i have 4 10 inch memphis pr 10's and absolutely LOVE them. i thought about selling them to get one 15 to save space but i just cant detach myself from them. check ebay you will actually have money left over after buying them and that box sounds perfect for them. mine are sealed and they get freakin LOUD and sound really good while doing it.
