4 12" cvr or 4 12" type r's????

cvrs wont last on 1500rms.. i should know as i had 4 of them.. Type R's all the way
I would like to see some pictures of your setup please. I'm running 4 CVR 15's in my 1996 tahoe on 2 MTX 1501D's and I've never had any problems and thats 750watts rms ea. I'll post some pictures to prove it

What I meant was you can pick up the cvr's for less and your not giving up much in quality or output. I also have 2 10" Alpine type X's in my 5.0 mustang so im not on the kicker bandwagon or anything like that but to me it sounds like hes on a lil bit of a budget so I suggested that he go ahead and get the cvr's and save some money.

If the signal was heavily clipped, it likely wasn't at rated power //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I didn't notice if he mentioned what amp he was using that blew it, but i reckon any amp can clip.

I bet he was just not using a tcab box.. thats why it blew.
