gonna do a build for my friend this week in the back of his jimmy.

If anyone wants to help me work with this that would be great. or if you know these don't work well in 4th order bandpass speak up. wanna start building tomorrow after work. will be daily. offa 800-1200wrms ( no amp yet.) mainly rap music. any suggestions/ experience with these drivers welcome. thanks.

hmmm, dimensions are larger than i can use, but gives me an idea as to the volume i need at least.

any ideas of where to go from here? not sure how to calculate the ports tuning with a bandpass box, do i calculate the entire boxes volume or just the volume of the ported section. was told to try for around 3 sealed and 9-10 ported 250 sq in of port at 48Hz port. was told 5 in of port length should be about right, which confused me...

i would go larger on the sealed side.. the hfi's don't have much motor strength so you have to be careful w/ small box's

i would do 5 sealed 8 ported w/ 150 sq inches of port.. calculate tuning like the ported chamber is a standard ported box.

so a 150 square inch port in a 8 cubes box tuned to 45 would be 14.75" long

if your tight on space you can cut the sealed chamber down a little bit

im using six of these woofers. the are good performers. But if u dont have proper space these dont work. I suggest a 1.5 cube sealed per woofer and shoot for 2.25 ported per so if u can do 6 sealed & 9 ported they will shine but a min of 5 sealed 8 ported otherwise just do a standard ported box.
