4 10" JL W3's

I just got ahold of a different vehicle for the winter.

I was going to get a Blazer and put 4 10" JL W3's in it, But now I have a single cab 1992 Silverado (Blazer was too small for me)- question is, can you fit 4 10" JL W3's behind that seat, without moving it up very far? THey work best in small sealed boxes, I am told, so this may be the perfect app for them?

I am 6'9" tall, so the seat can go foward one click before it gets uncomfortable.

I basically want to run mid/low 130's, louder if possible. I have a PPI A600.2, or a Clarion DPX1000.2 for power.

If not... What? Maybe 6 eu700's?

ur 6 foot 9 inches tall......dammmm.........u can prolly get a custom job and have two subs pointing in the cab and two pointing backwards....or since u said 10" maybe u can run 4 pointing inside the cab

. Basically this is a box question- how do I fit four tens in there?

I was thinking right across the bottom of the seat along the back of the cab.

However, I have never done a small space or truck install... Many people here have. I dunno if that shi will fit!

i want bass so loud it will make ppl who hear me on the streat to wet themselves do you think this will be loud lol i thought pyramid subs would be the best but my frined said jl was the way to go lol i need to pound hard, my friends laff at me cuz i canna boom like that lol lol lol

True... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif It looks like it would work if the JL's were't so deep.

Maybe 6 or 8 eu700's would do the trick.

Are they loud?

They are 1/2 inch shorter than a JL 10W3 (5 1/4)... Hmm. I could cut holes in the back of the box and silicone around the bumped backplate on the JL's. I could gain up to 3/4 of an inch that way, depending on angle. JLW3V1'a have a giant **** backplate that is at least 1" deep.

Memphis Power Reference Series are also very shallow, and loud...

I like the idea of JL's because I can get 4 of them fairly cheaply.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

I'll have to measure tonight more carefully.

RE group buy, lotsa re 8"s would be nice, shallow and have good output and u got some power on tap get crafty with some fiberglass and i bet u could somethin real nice with them
