okie dokie brand mostly...id just personally save up like i did i was going to get a regular tv but instead saved and got a 42" Toshiba with 1080p it was like 1500

that probably what i will end up doing. i was looking at samsung's too but have heard mixed reviews on some of thier models. any other brands i should look at?

after thankgiving my cousin got a 52in plasma or lcd, not sure which one. for $900. it was either Panasonic or Samsung. that was about a year ago.

i did alot of research and the best bang for the buck for a flat screen was my toshiba so look into the 40/42" sharp Aquos 1080P HDTV they are fairly cheap refurbished on ebay

Yeah, I posted this on another forum, so I have decided MAYBE step up to the aquos, here it goes..

Well...

I've narrowed it down to this..

The Sharp Aquos LCC3242U, or the Sceptre X32BV-NAGA.

I wanted the Sceptre for the price, because it was only $549, but the Aquos is the next price up, at $799.

And after reading a review about the Sceptre I was thinking maybe it would be worth it not to be a cheap-skate and save a bit more to get the Aquos.

I am getting this for heavy muilimedia use. Gaming with last generation Consoles, and then the new gen's Ps3 with HDMI.

Everything about the Aquos seems better, however, for the price increase i'm not sure its worth it.

So thats why I am asking.... do you guys think that for the use I will put it through, that I should get the Aquos, or would the Sceptre be fine?

get the sharp picture quality is awesome i play xbox360 and PS3 on it have HDMI cable for ps3 and watchin blu ray planet earth it almost looks fake its so detailed

26'' is to small for my stand, it would look funny, lol.

I want to try to keep the size about the same (32'') besides, I gotta get it at costco.

just picked up a lg lcd tonight. excellent picture, huge upgrade from the 20"tube i had before lol. a bit more than i wanted to spend , but i thought it was worth it.
