I got ahold of 50 of these, but just don't need all of them. They were used in a backup server for 2 years, and are in really nice condition. Depends on what you stock alt and battery are like. I'd say 2 at the minimum. 4 if you have a small alt and front battery.

well actually i dont use capacitors, but to each their own who decides to use them. what i was saying that if youre thinking about buying a cap, whynot go with a small bat such as this that has a good reserve capacity and a very fast discharge and recharge like the properties of a capacitor...and for less $. i do have a yellow top under the hood which helps, but if youre using the right capacitor setup there is no problem with that at all. actually i really like those alumapro caps. and caps have a lot of use for noise filtering as well. bump again for this. like he said, one of these with otherwise fair electrical would be good on a 1k type setup.
