wooh thats alot of info //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/yumyum.gif.0556df42231b304b9c995aefd13928a8.gif Price?//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/greedy.gif.5a53e6246569d7ab79867170f3b06629.gifTo beat the competition, you have to think "Big", but most of all you have to go "Nuclear". Soundstream engineers designed the XXX-6500D amplifier to produce 6,500 bone-crushing watts in one heatsink. If 6,500 watts aren't enough, strap 2 of the XXX-6500D together on a 2-ohom load and blow away the competition with 13,000 watts of mind melting power. We have been working on this Top Secret project for the past 2 1/2 years to bring you the most advanced and powerful class "D" amplifier in the world. Can you handle the power?
Feature XXX-5000D
OUTPUT POWER: RMS/Chan @ 4 Ohms (Watts) 3400

thanks
how does that not make sense, a square wave is worse on an amp/sub than a reg wave, plain and simplei hope that post was a joke.![]()
what you just said was "playing square waves is worse than overpowering a sub"
oh sht dude... underpowering a sub vs. overpowering is all using sine waves. Comparing low signal with clipping to high signal without is retarded. Of course it'll break stuff. But a low signal with clipping vs. a high signal with clipping, the high wattage will blow it a lot faster than the low wattage will. Don't turn things around to try to prove a flawed point.how does that not make sense, a square wave is worse on an amp/sub than a reg wave, plain and simple//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
im not trying to prove a flawed poin like i said MOST people turn the gains up more to compensate for the lack of power. hell if your over powering a sub with a clipped signal then yeah its gunna blow faster than a clipped signal of lower power, but how many people will turn the gain up with more power than needed? not many due to the fact that they know its enough power and they dont have to compensate for anything.oh sht dude... underpowering a sub vs. overpowering is all using sine waves. Hey Shawn - first time I saw you on here...I browse here every once in a while too. Are you going to Neil's show on the 3rd?Ok I have 2 things to say on this thread. 1) The soundstream amps are no joke, I have 10 of them. The do awsome power at .7 and 18v's!
