went and saw it the night it came out. All i can say is i wanted to stab somebody when i left the theatre. It was a kick ***, bad *** movie. The visual effects were awesome andthe actors did a really good job. I was impressed and plan on going to see it again this week. Plus, there are nipples everywhere in the movie...girls nipples.

probably gonna go check it out later. friend of mine saw it and said the same thing about wanting to stab someone afterwards haha. he said it was a good movie though, it's been awhile since i've seen a good movie in theatres.

Overhyped B movie.

I even went to it stoned in an attempt to truly experience it at the IMAx theater- no luck.

Weak ending, useless story line, and pathetic display of heroism.

Ending- Which writer actually sat down and decided a good way to end the movie would be by having the original 300 spartans die like pansies from arrows, have a story teller convince greece to raise an army, then show nothing of the avenging fight?

Storyline- Seriously, the entire movie felt like it was leading up to something that never came. When the credits rolled, I too wanted to stab someone, but only because I felt ripped off.

Weak Heroism Display- The Spartans were bad *** hardcore gangster killing machines and I get to see them die by an arrow attack? I want to see their turtle shell formation thing trully own the Persian army, I want to see an overview of the battle with the Spartans cutting through the Persians to get to their god king. Instead I get a weak *** slow motion shot of a spear glancing the Persian King. Then death by arrow? They should have all died like the Captain did- totally overwhelmed and annihalated. Not rained on.

All in all it was a decent movie but nothing revolutionary like claimed and defineatly not as awesome as hyped.

yeah it was a bad *** movie, i read some review by some idiot critic it was hilarious, saying its worse than the teletubbies LOL what a loser. but the movie is fantastic.

Sweet movie, and the writers didnt make up the storyline, im pretty sure they borrowed it from somewhere else.

the only reason they didnt use the turtle shell move at the end is cause they knew they didnt have a chance and were gonna die and they were surounded by over 1000 dudes with arrows and all the other dudes with swords.
