ok me and my buddy are arguing about the impendance of 3 svc 4 ohm subs, i have a book from MTX that says 3 svc 4 ohm subs wired in parallel will equal out to a 1.67 ohm load, while he argues that it will be a 1.333 ohm load...... will you please tell him who is right so he will shut up about my impendance,

here's an easy way to figure it out.

Divide the impedence of each sub (in this case 4 ohms) divided by the number of subs

4/3=1.33

Another example, 3 DVC 4 ohm subs wired in series parallel (each sub is thus an 8 ohm load)

8/3=2.67
