your going to want the dual 2 ohm if you get 3 of them. That will give you a lower ohm load then a dual 4. Three dual 2 ohms will wire down to 1.34 ohm and three dual 4 ohms will only wire down to 2.67 ohms

Probably not the best idea but couldn't you run 2 D4's and 1 D2? wire the 4's down to 1 ohm and the 2 to 1 ohm and ether use a .5 ohm amp or run 2 ohms?

Won't that run the 1 ohm sub harder than the other 2?

I wasn't sure. Part of me says they should be the same since the amps RMS at that level of resistance but then I would also think less resistance on 1 sub compared to the other 2 and the one should be using more power... idk, I'm not an electrical engineer lol

Get three dual 4s and wire them all in parallel for a 0.67ohm load and run them off a Sundown saz-1500d. They'll wang.

You want to get the same impedence on subs or the sub/subs with the lower resistance will get more power than the others, which will probably cause massive cancellation issues.
