Ok... Got the above subs. Want to port the enclosure rear-firing subs and ports (preferably), for an suv. They will be on a single amp, so I guess they need to share a single airspace and port. Suggestions? Never done the calculations on porting multiple subs so not sure how to even design it to specs, or where I should start. I have enough room to have them in-line but i'd probably need the port(s) to go on the top or bottom and i'm not sure if that's best for stability of the box. Materials will be MDF.

For my own educational purposes why couldnt 3 subs running off one amp be in seperate chambers having a port in each?

I've always thought that it wasn't good because even though they should be the same enclosures, there will be small differences which lead to distortion issues.

Also, any difference could lead to slight differences in impedance loads between the subs, and thus lead to uneven power delivery.

Of course, in most scenarios, the effect should be negligible. The goal again is "the most ideal" setup.

Some like the safety of putting each sub with its own enclosure and port. Some say this sounds best as well. You can do them all in a common port but sometimes if something happens to one sub, it can kill all 3
