i made it from STL Missouri to Florida bumping for prolly 6 hours straight then for another 6 after like a 4 hour break

on a 6 hour drive to chicago system stayed pretty loud about 5 hours of it. my highs amp used to get extremely hot even on normal play times. although by the time we got to chicago you could fry an egg on it, it never shut down.

I have done it in my daily setup, pair of components and a sealed 12. I ended up overtemping my mid amp. Sub amp was fine .

Best i have done in the comp truck is about a 1/2 hour, mainly because of all the cops in the area. I have to drive 15 miles away just to do some testing.

ble it or not i havent been on any ends of the island...even though ive lived here all my life...so i figure do it before i leave for college...and i have a brand new 9515g that needs breaking in...so ill do that as well

ooh ok kool...well my mid amp never got hot..i tried them for more than an hour str8....so im kool with that...just never tried it with the bass on...so thatll be next

but i let it cool down and everything is all gravy!

about 3 hours straight just driving around the city after coming back from school, amp was hot

1 hour or so in hot weather with mids/highs all the way up, my SAX100.4 gets warm, not hot

I can only stand the bass at full tilt for maybe 20 minutes... but i am bumping all the time, just not all the way up.

I guess my amp isnt extremely powerful but the xbox in the trunk gives off alot of heat (Runs @ like 115c on a hot day with a 90mm fan blowing heat out)and i just drove 4+ hours bumpin with no problems/shutoffs, only turning it down for a min. when the gf complained that the bass hurts her head. My trunk gets hot gotta figure out some kinda vent.

Same. My premier 3004s would get a little smell going after an hour or so. Let them cool off for 15-20min and then go right back at em.
