I do it, i think the longest consecutive has been 2 hours. My stuff may not be the best, but it has held up really well. The amp doesn't get hot at all, probably because its not putting out much power, haha.

I went to my cottage on lake last weekend which is 2.5 hours away..

I turned the music on at the start and left it on all the way.. I had the volume at 20/30.. when I got there, I checked my amp, it is pretty warm, but not hot at all..

I have a crossfire vr2000d and 2 fi BLs.. stock electrical..
