2 Ford 200a 6g alternators, 1 Ford 200a 3g alternator, and 3 matching MLA modules from Missing Link Audio. The alternators are from Mr. Alternator. Will include two 1/0awg copper lugs with each alternator.

All 3 alternators are 200a. The 2 MLA modules for the 6g alts maintain 15v and the one for the 3g alt does 15.3v. The 2 6g alts & modules came off my brother's 2001 Ford Excursion 7.3L diesel engine. The 3g alt & module came off my '93 Ford Explorer. I'm sure these are interchangeable on other vehicles but I don't have a clue with what. You can easily cross reference the vehicles to find out.

Everything is used in perfect working condition. The only reason I'm selling these is because we upgraded to bigger MechMan 300a alternators. I never used my MLA module cause it's not allowed in local competition. My brother got the optional external adjustable voltage regulator for his alts so he doesn't need his MLA modules anymore either.

$175 obo for each 6g, $150 obo for the 3g, $85 for each MLA module. Will do combo deals. Don't be afraid to make offers. I'm easy to negotiate with. Not looking for any trades.

So you dont know if that 3g mla will adapt with a 02 Ford Taurus. And if it does ****, cus im broke.
it will....the ford MLA module works on 3g/4g/6g's all the same //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

How much do the 6G's put out at idle??
I don't have a clue. They didn't come with any kind of bench test results like my MechMan alts did. I can tell you that the 200a was a huge, very noticeable, improvement over the stock 95a unit.

The best thing is to contact MLA at http://www.missinglinkaudio.com with questions like that. I can only guess that these would work with any Ford 3g or 6g series alt.

what do the modules do?
The modules basically trick the internal voltage regulator into charging at a higher voltage. My Explorer ran fine at 15.3v and my brother's Excursion ran fine at 15.0v without any issues.

From my impression.. The MLA modules are optimized per alternator.. So unless you have the exact same alt as the guy is selling then they won't do nothing for you.

bump for you
