3 Fi 18's VS. 4 AQ 15's???

Think it would be worth it to go from three 08 Fi BL's on three sundown 1500's to 4 AQ HDC3 15's off two crunch 3000's? Losing a little bit of cone area but gaining some more power.

Haha very true...but I just got this installed and havent even had it going for a month and already thinking about doing this, its horrible. Just hoping for some opinions.

Just did that, from the AQ 1200's to the sundown 1500's which was a good bit louder to the ear. Don't really want to push 2000 to them.

As title states, three 18" Fi BL's fully loaded on 4500 watts Or 4 15" AQ HDC3's on 6000.

just get another 1500, and strap each pair....then forget about the crunch 3k

if I got the hdc3's again it would have to be the newer suspension version. I feel that update was long needed

do the 4 15's and as a correction the 15's will have more surface cone area... 3 x 18 is 54 where as 15 x 4 is 60 .... thats 6 inches more. and alot more power... so it could be alot better

Actually you're gaining more cone area and power...FYI

3 18's=54" / 4 15's=60"

3 1500 wrms= 4500 / 2 3000 wrms=6000 wrms

4 AQ HDC3 15's on 2 crunch gp 3000d pro's FTW.

Not how you calculate cone area...look at my previous post. But yea more power and motor force. It might not be worth the whole process of changing.
