3 Fi 18's VS. 4 AQ 15's???

lol at the other post
and na, if you get the hdc3's then I would run 4 1500's instead of 2 crunch 3k
Lol yea at the other post, but oooo I understand now. Yea that'd be good //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

gotta get yur current setup metered first:)
x2

what are you goals? what is lacking in your current set up that makes you want to change?

Either set up has the potential to get very loud. I run 4 15" HDC's, but alum coils with a 3500 on each. At your power level the BL's or copper coil HDC's should do fine...

do the 4 15's and as a correction the 15's will have more surface cone area... 3 x 18 is 54 where as 15 x 4 is 60 .... thats 6 inches more. and alot more power... so it could be alot better
Wrong

Actually you're gaining more cone area and power...FYI
3 18's=54" / 4 15's=60"

3 1500 wrms= 4500 / 2 3000 wrms=6000 wrms

4 AQ HDC3 15's on 2 crunch gp 3000d pro's FTW.
Wrong again.

Actually 3 18's > 4 15's
pi x r^2

Three 18's: 3.14x81=254.34 x 3 = 763.02

Four 15's: 3.14x56.25=176.625 x 4 = 706.5 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
Right.

To the OP, keep what you have as I think you will barely notice a difference if anything. Or step up to some aluminum AQ's and run a 3k crunch per //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
