3 Channel amp? components and sub?

Im just thinking that I could get a small 2 channel kicker and a 400 watt mono kicker and it would be the same and cost alot less

yes, but your taking away from the convenience of having only one amp, which is what you started this thread for. lol. convenience costs extra..

no you can buy a distro block which will allow you to split the power into both amps.

what size power cable would be good for these 2 amps? whats the best place to buy the distro block and amp install kits?

looks like you would be under 1500 watts, actually closer to 1000, if you dont ever plan on upgrading you could probably get away with 4 guage, if you want to be able to upgrade later get 1/0 so you dont have to worry about it later. Id get on ebay or knukonceptz.com probably has the best prices. Or you might be able to snag some deals on used stuff here in the classifieds.

ordered everything along with some damplifier pro, also a sealed box for the 10 in. sub, anyone have any mounting ideas for the box that would be easily removable? some sort of bracket or straps?
